ABOUT THE PRODUCTION: NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!

 

We are looking for children ages 6-14 to help bring this production to the stage! In our Summer Theatre Experience,  students will prepare in a fully staged show with costumes, sets, and all the magic of performing in a black box theater. ATF is excited to bring MATILDA to life this summer!

 

We strive to provide high quality theatrical opportunities, allowing students to be touched by the magic of theatre through performing, working together and discovering new talents. All roles are open to performers of all backgrounds and identities. We aim to cultivate a diverse and inclusive community both on stage and off. ​This Theater experience is a great opportunity to try something new as well as grow budding performers who are looking to grow as actors, singers and dancers. The only experience needed is a willingness to work hard and most importantly have fun.

Throughout the day your children will learn and rehearse the scenes, songs, and dances for the show. Our intensive provides an invaluable experience that builds confidence and self esteem, develops creativity, and teaches valuable lessons in teamwork, responsibility, and discipline. Each performer will learn communication skills, Theater techniques, and gain confidence in performance.

 

Everyone interested in participating in this production should consider coming to this audition for a chance to help the directors decide which parts will be best for each student. For your audition, please prepare a one-minute song from Matilda or any song that showcases you best. Don't have a song, email us and we will help! We work very hard to make sure every student shines!

Tuition: $600 Early Bird Pricing Until May 15 ($650 after May 15)

$100 non-refundable deposit due at time of registration.

Remaining balance is due on the first day of rehearsal.

Performers Will Need:

• Costume pieces

• Daily sack lunch, snack and beverage

• Folder and 2 sharpened pencils

• Comfortable clothing or dance clothes to move in
